A great piece of film - this bird on wire piece by Wes Johnson is a perfect companion to You Don’t Love. Thanks Wes.

This video is a combination of Wes Johnson's fantastic film "powerlinerflyers", found on his Vimeo page here: vimeo.com/wesjohnson

This is just a haunting and beautiful film and when we saw it we wanted to fit a Willoughby piece to it.
Two brand new Willoughby videos to keep you all visually entertained. The first, above, was filmed at Obama-rama at Spaceland. The video starts off with an interview with The Bird & The Bee, and some live performances with them, and ends with Willoughby performing a brand-new song, Far Away. This was their first live performance of this song live, and features Electrocute’s Nicole Morier on guest vocals.

The second video, below, is a fan video taken the same night at Spaceland, and is of the band performing Frankenstein.

Hope you like the new clips.

Directed by Manny Marquez (Ferraby Lionheart, Grand Ol Party, Eleni Mandell, Rex Aquarium) and shot in Los Angeles, this is a surreal take on the bizarre love story brewing between a monster and his master.

And the video is now in HD on Vimeo here.

At long last, after having teased you with photos from the video shoot for the past few weeks, here is the debut video from Willoughby, co-written by Gus Seyffert and his friend Benji Hughes, the song is somewhat of a companion piece to Benji's song The Mummy, from his forthcoming album, A Love Extreme. Stereogum said, "Willoughby is the project of Los Angeles' Gus Seyffert, who recorded and produced his debut album I Know What You're Up To largely on his own. Sonically, he said he "wanted to capture the organic, analog sound of all the great records I love -- by people like Harry Nilsson, Sparklehorse, the Zombies and Chet Baker." You can sorta get a bit of Baker's soft vocal tones and some of that Nilsson strumming (and facial hair) in "Frankenstein." We were told the song is "a love letter from Frankenstein to Frankenstein's monster.""

Directed by Manny Marquez for Streelight Films
DoP/Edited by Randy Wedick
